I always liked exams. Because I’d worked hard over the year, the exam was a chance to show off what I had learned. The only exams I really didn’t like were my 1st year university exams where I was doing very hard subjects that I did quite badly in. But in the second and third years I chose options that I liked much better.

I didn’t love or hate exams. There are mixed views about exams and at the moment universities are moving away from them

It depended on the subject. I genuinely had fun doing exams on topics I loved, and I was very unexcited at the idea of doing exams on topics I found boring.

I used to get very nervous and anxious for exams but I always made sure I was prepared for them to ease my anxiety as much as possible. Usually about 15 minutes in I found my flow and was able to quite enjoy them (as long as it wasn’t a really hard exam!).
