Malwina Niechcial-McKenna answered on 27 Nov 2023:
Yes, I am a Catholic, so I do believe in God. I have a friend who is a primatologist (she works with monkeys and children) and she does some talks and events that deal with Christianity and science. Really interesting stuff.

No, even though I’ve been baptised as a baby, I’m an atheist. However, I do understand why people can find faith important.

David McGonigle answered on 30 Nov 2023:
Per se, no. I’m what’s called an agnostic atheist; I don’t believe in the existence of a higher power, but I also believe that currently, there is no way to prove this, one way or the other.
I was brought up as a catholic, and now I have some distance between my upbringing and my current life, I think I understand for myself why religions exist and why complicated belief systems exist as well.
I see no issue with scientists being religious, as most religions rely on faith, not evidence. So, from my perspective, there’s nothing to argue about because one either believes or doesn’t.

I have mixed feelings, some of my family are religious I would say I believe there is something in the afterlife I’m not too sure if I believe in a god however.
