It has its pros and cons. I think the positives are that everyone seems to be interested, both colleagues and those who take part. It can look realistic and therefore be a lot better than using images and film clips when wanted to assess emotional responses as I did. The cons are that it can be quite time-consuming and hard to develop a VR world as it involves a lot of coding. Also, there is a chance that people can get motion sickness in VR so that is also something you have to prepare for.
