  Studying in Rome allowed me to get to know the local culture, to understand better Italian history, to learn the Italian language, and to enjoy the local food. Some of my best friends today are Italians and my favourite food is Italian.
  
  Studying anywhere abroad allows one to immerse oneself in the local culture, to better understand the differences between people from different countries, and to become more empathetic and openminded towards other nations.
