  Hi Charlotte, great question. Absolutely, I think it has helped me in a few ways, I now have the ability to be more understanding and empathic when I communicate with people. I also understand different contexts and how things work in multiple settings, for example in charities or schools. I think that it has broadened my experience and helped me decide what I really what to focus on in my research and who I want to do research for to really make a difference.
